In 2017 Brandon Harris founded Epibook in hopes of creating a safe space for people to talk about epilepsy.

Brandon’s journey started at the age of five when he had a febrile seizure as the result of complications to the chicken pox. Years went by with out issue until a sever concussion playing college football caused him to have a grand mal seizure while taking a computer technology final.

20 years later, his mother was driving him to work, and he had a seizure in the car. She was scared to death, stating that she didn’t realize that they were that bad, and demanded that he look into disability.

After being denied for disability, hiring a lawyer and appealing the decision, only to be denied again. Mr. Harris then saw the need for a platform to assist the epileptic community.

Learning to code, maximizing security to prevent any data breaches, and creating content took almost three years. Then covid hit. Mrs. Harris got laid off from her job. As a result Mr. Harris had to get a full time job and shut down the site.

However, his ambition didn’t stop there. After the shut down was over Mr. Harris started rebuilding his work on the website and making sure that that it is even better than before.
